We see it all over Facebook Christian pages. The quick fix Type - TopicsExpress

We see it all over Facebook Christian pages. The quick fix Type Amen - your Amen works. Lol. Sadly most the time the message to pray is lost right there. Lost in translation having the focus be on the instant gratification that our typing of any quick response bears fruit. Is that what our prayer time has been reduced to? Encouraging others to pray like we do a fast food order? Ummm hi God yes let me take two Favors, one Increases, a side of Hope and ten Amens for today. Oh by the way... Im in a rush so can you make that to go?!!? We got to stop encouraging this empty behavior. Look I know from the fb admin and graphic designer side of things the type Amen gets people to respond fast ensures activity on your page and makes things look great that people are at least participating. But at what cost if it also creates a counter culture to our need for genuine prayer. I mean is this what our prayer life has become reduced to? And imagine how God feels about this? Type Amen? Sure but more then that lets take the time to really pray on it!
