We seem to have become far too accustomed to oil spills , ash pond leaks, water contaminated with all kinds of toxins. Hell we have a radiation alert from the west coast of California from Japans nuclear reactor meltdown 2 years ago. Iguess we can get used totoxins in our bodies . Duke Energy in the state of NC has 14 coal plants with 14 ash ponds at those p[lants and if they leak anyone of them more of the same like the recent Dan River mess 61 million gallons of ash waste into the river where they get most of not allof thier drinking water.Duke was almost about to just pay a 99,000 fine and not do any clean up until citizens raised hell and forced the EPA to get real and in their butts andclean up that mess. Now of the coast of Texas not far from Houston more oil is leaking this time from a tanker that had 900,000 gallans of thick black oil like No. 6 Bunker C it has the consistency of Brer Rabbit molasses a guestamate of 50 to 100 thousand gal;lons or more are now leaking into the Gulf found at least 12 miles off shore . We cant afford to just get used to this that is insane we have to raise some hell now orwe will be boiling water from now on everywhere in America !
