We seldom remember an important aspect of civilization. We are conditioned to obey these laws and perform these tasks and suffer endless prattling about duty to country and our responsibilities. Well theres this thing called social contract. Its a deal. We do our part and they do their part. We will consent to laws to make human interaction run smoother and protect us from harm. In short, we will allow ourselves to be ruled in return for reasonable safety and stability. In return these rulers will receive the highest levels of prestige, clout, and respect attainable in human society by any being but a god made flesh. But that contract is broken. Little girls are sued for downloading music and murderers are roaming schools and theaters. Soldiers of ours are getting away with raping our own women. Convicted murderers are walking out of prison. Politicians are running private armies. Corporations are running private politicians. Virtually all forms of journalism are compromised. Children are starving and laws are in force that require tons of food must rot- likely within a mile of these kids. Elected officials recently and blatantly interrupted the operation of government with the specific intent to cause harm to the American people. This, readers, is defined as High Treason. In the eyes of the law, it requires the same penalty as assassinating the president. This contract IS broken and thats their fault. But we still play our part. We are the gullible giant fool, the one you can con but dont want to anger. The one who takes a pat on the back and hot air instead of facing reality. But hey, its OK America Youre the greatest country in the world Right?
