We set our goal of knocking on 18,500 doors in the fifth congressional district on or before June 24, 2014. We set that goal and began knocking doors the first Saturday in February 2013. Today, we not only reached, but exceeded our goal. After knocking doors this morning, we have now visited and knocked on the doors of 18,600 fellow voters in CD5. We have now reached 100.54% of our goal. I want to thank Gene and LaDonna Hunt, Debbie Hogue-Downing, Chris Beaty, Connor Bannon, and Jim Potts for joining me today and putting us over the top! We also appreciate everyone who knocked one door or many doors in the last 17 months in our quest for excellence in grassroots democracy. We have spent thousands of hours and millions of calories reaching our goal. We did it for you, and hope to carry our inclusive message into the halls of Congress.
