We set up a time lapse on Friday night inside the Ashford Mill - TopicsExpress

We set up a time lapse on Friday night inside the Ashford Mill ruins at the south end of Death Valley. The camera was looking north west. It started at 10pm and when I came out to view the Space Station flyover at 4:55am I stopped it. It consists of 274 individual 25 second shots. After the moon sets around 11pm the sky darkens and around 4am it does lighten slightly as the sun gets close to rising. You can see the smudge of Andromeda Galaxy moving from top to bottom. The Pleiades star cluster enters stage top left and eventually hides behind the ruins. Jupiter is prominent and near the end turns hazy as a cloud moves in. This six hour and 55 minute northern night view of our sky is presented to you in just 26 seconds. Hope you enjoy.
