We shared in Part 24 of this Lecture Series that when I look back at my Teacher, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, and what he was trying to get me to see of myself: That the burning in my own heart is to see our people free, justified and equal. But there’s also a burning in the core of my being of a fire that yearns to see Humanity, all of Humanity, escape God’s Wrath. No messenger of God preaches, “hoping” that the people will be killed. God’s messengers always preached hoping that The Wicked will turn from their wicked ways! You have it in the scriptures of 2 Chronicles, Chapter 7, verse 14, where it reads: “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land”—and that brings us back to the prophet David…
