We should join them. Why not have happy, productive workers who are paid enough to live comfortably no matter what their job description. Maybe we could also have limits on other incomes to compensate for the higher incomes for those at the bottom of the economic ladder. Universal, single payer healthcare, birth to death free, public education, publicly financed elections with no campaigns allowed to raise funds, free access to media with equal time for all candidates, guaranteed retirement for all workers. End loopholes and just give each taxpayer the first $25,000 free of all taxation. Wonder who would be happier then.
