We shouldnt send forces to Syria . I am against Bashar al Assad and will not mind to see him getting killed by a Syrian but other countries shouldnt interfere in Syrian resistance. Syrians should take the charge of their own cause. Pakistan shouldnt jump into this war by sending soldiers as it will result in more sectarian conflicts (which are already here due to war on terror, iranian export of khomenism and other reasons). If some people want to go to Syria then they should go at their own risk using their own resources and they should be free to choose their sides (Assad or opposition) but no government involvement. On the other hand there is no harm in joint defense research or production by NESCOM, SUPARCO etc with other countries including Saudi Arabia. Europe does it, Americans do it with their real allies (not Pak) and others also do it. In fact Pak should promote joint space, aeronautical or even nuclear energy research with OIC countries or any other country willing to cooperate.
