We shout EVANGELIZE as the answer for anything that happens outside of the Church that disappoints us. Some things are PROPHETIC and will take place in spite of all of the cry for EVANGELISM. The sad truth is this, most of the CHURCHES in AMERICA are only trained to RUN THINGS INSIDE of the Church and are lost when it comes to any thing outside of the four walls. You can not just jump up and go evangelizing in a community during tragedy if you havent been in relationship with the community before tragedy. Places like Ferguson, Chicago, New York, Detroit, California and many other very active Regions are tired of the RELIGIOUS OPPORTUNIST who just want to make the news papers and become televised heroes. Evangelism is not just engaging a community during calamity but rather building relationships with that community all year round. EVEN IF THEY NEVER JOIN YOUR LOCAL ASSEMBLY. Mobilization is great but building concrete relationships with the people is what changes the hearts of those in that community. In my opinion, either they are not televising the Senior Leaders in that community stepping up or the reality is, THEY DONT KNOW THE PEOPLE and the PEOPLE DONT KNOW THEM. My Mother Apostle Karen Hoskins is one of the best teachers Ive heard concerning Evangelism. Shes trained from Child Evangelism to training Evangelist in ministry. She would often say People will not CARE about what you have to say, until you first show them HOW MUCH YOU CARE Selah.....
