Its hard to understand how someone could make everyone around them feel happy and be held in such high regard, but being unable to bring joy to your own life. He was my favorite actor for the longest time, able to bring any kind of emotion to a role, whether hes playing a homeless genius with mental health issues or a man dressed in drag just to spend more time with his kids. Thank you Robin Williams, not only for all the laughs and memorable characters, but also for having the guts to express yourself the way you knew best for as long as you did. To be so unhappy and still have the compassion toward others like you did, wanting them to feel what you couldnt, and doing it in such a way that people had no choice but to smile and take part in the simple pleasures in life...like laughter. RIP
