We spent 18 hours in total on the water Saturday, besides some trash fish this baby at 10:00 PM was all we caught,....and totallly made it all worth it. I had put my reel up and just walked to the bow and said Thats it Im throwing in the towel lets go less than 2 seconds later the drag on Shanes Rod started screaming, fish on! What are the odds? The fight lasted a long time and was a team effort to land the Bull Red because of the light tackle being used. The fish would get close to the boat them run again taking away all the line gained. The sound of squealing drag is one of the best sounds in the world. I just wanted to see what kind of fish it was before it broke the line, my guess was a shark because we were fishing with squid and the way it was fighting. When the fish finally quit the new problem was it wouldnt fit in the net, luckily I was able to get a grip on her lip with my hand. Then we celebrated lol :) After the Reds photo shoot it was released to make more Reds.
