We spent New Years Eve roaming the south side of the Keweenaw. Headed out of da Harbor through the tunnel of trees and it is just as beautiful in the winter as it is any other season! Stopped at Bete Gris, frozen Haven Falls, Point Isabella, and then through Gay. Of course I had to take the scenic route along M26 back and boy was it bad at Great Sand Bay...total white out conditions! But we made it through safely and of course stopped at Esrey Park again and then we finally made a quick stop at Hunters Point. After 5 1/2 hours of roaming, my girls still wanted a walk around town so out we went. They are now sound asleep after enjoying an amazing day in the Keweenaw. Happy New Year Yoopers and Yooper wannabes!
