We spent an overnight stay at our friends place, and for a special breakfast we had claw-dad home smoked ... yes our friend said we were having claw-dad a few days beforehand ... Now for the life of myself I had no-idea of what they were, let alone the smoked version ... I even goggled what claw-dads were, but come up with untold suggestions ... now that our farewell breakfast is over I finally know ... Its catfish, with the added touch of the secret recipe version on how to smoke them ... Yes, its our final day in Calgary, but what memorys to be had as we slowly trek home :-) Perhaps one day we will return now that Ive finally hung up the glove of retirement ... Indeed the thought of that is ever so inviting :-)
