We spent last Saturday working with BLM, OHA,and RMEF. this project has been in the works for 2 years. The goal is to pull as much scotchbroom as possible, reseed native grass, fertilize it, spread white clover seed, and spread mulch over the top. These are old logging roads that are being taken over by invasive species of plants. Soon there will be very little for elk to feed on slowly driving them further and further away. This is the reason for these projects is to preserve elk grazing territory. Lets kick some more scotchbroom ass! Good times for a good reason!!!
