Who was it again that came to the aid of the people in New Orleans or the NJ coast after Hurricane Sandy? I dont believe in foreign aid when it never is reciprocal. This is what we should be ashamed of when we reach out to others while our citizens suffer. In order to ease the United States’ departure from Afghanistan, the U.S, along with several other countries pledged $16 billion in development aid through 2015 at a conference in Tokyo recently. The United States fiscal year 2013 foreign aid budget is projected to total $56.1 billion. This is an increase compared to the FY2012 foreign aid budget, which amounted to $47 billion. 1. Afghanistan – $4.647 billion 2. Pakistan – $1.940 billion 3. Indonesia – $313 million 4. Georgia – $420 million 5. Russia – $379 million we give almost $400 million directly to Russia, WTF? 6. Moldova – $308 million 7. Haiti – $1.406 billion almost 1.5 billion but we wont help our own citizens. 8. Colombia – $678 million for improvements in the drug trade? 9. Mexico – $622 million and what are we paying them for, more drug tunnels? 10. Iraq – $1.082 billion and why are they not selling oil to pay us back? 11. West Bank/Gaza – $693 million 12. Jordan – $463 million 13. Ethiopia – $981 million 14. Sudan – $871 million 15. Kenya – $816 million This is outrageous that we help 182 countries all over the world but ignore our own people who have miles of red tape to go through when these other countries just stick out their hand to get my money. Government has nothing except that which it takes by force (stealing) from its citizens.
