We start the year with approx 300 of you hanging up the calendar. To those who have bought one to support melanoma UK and raise the profile of how important marshals are to motorsport we sincerely thank you for putting your money where your mouth is....thank you x To say we arent a little disappointed that we are 700 off our intended projected target would be a lie. Over 750 support our page here, 267 follow us on twitter and I know the marshal community is larger in number again. So many of you support us with a click of a like but is that going to work ? Very few of you share status here too so the word isnt spreading ): with no funds, no wages and no way of staging a massive marketing campaign we were putting our faith in peoples honest heartfelt support. I put a whole year of my time in over paid work, Gaynor has given her professional time up, everyone at Melanoma UK works voluntarily - Paul lives for this bloody project and works tirelessly to raise awareness, funds and delegate the marshals up North in his previous job aswell as dealing with his own illness !! So really ? Was it that hard to spend 2 minutes on my website, using paypal to part with a tenner to properly show your support ?? I know some of you were miffed that you didnt get the opportunity to be in this years calendar - there would have been another to shoot for 2016 but based on the lack of support its now not looking likely.
