We started our Scotland, Ireland and Wales Tearoom, Pub and Castle Affair Tour a few days ago and it is going brilliantly. We gave our new group the challenge of trying to be as easy going as our last group was and they have really risen to the challenge! We have Debi, her brother Pat and his wife Carol all from Oregon, Dory and Donn from Alaska, Bob and Sally from New Jersey, Dan and Cathy from Pennsylvania and Steve and Barb from Wisconsin. We started out in Cardiff, Wales enjoying a tour of Castell Coch with good friend and guide Jim Cowan. We also had a wonderful Medieval Banquet at Cardiff Castle before heading north to a 52 room Gothic Mansion House owned by our friends Paul and Victoria who so graciously open up their entire house to us and share there lives and love for this amazing house! We spent last night at the amazing 400 year old Maesmawr Hall which is billed as in informally formal country house and it is all that and more! We are now in Caernarfon in North Wales staying at the 500 year old Black Boy Inn within the city walls! We visited Harlech Castle on the way and then had a guided tour of Caernarfon Castle once we reached town. We are having an amazing tour with some amazing people!!
