We stayed home today. It rained most of the night last night and off and on today. We have seen only spotty sunshine. An uneducated guess would be close to 4 of rain the past 24 hours. I guess the rainy season has begun. But then, we live in a rain forest near the center of Dominica. The forest typically receives over 200 inches of rain each year. No wonder everything is so green and lush with ferns and moss growing everywhere. Just wish we could share some of it with our friends and family in North Texas who are suffering through a prolonged drought. Maybe we could send a tropical storm your way. :)
