We stopped by Lone Oak this afternoon when we got home from Marion Ky and Picking up Clovis the Millie replacement. John wanted to see our new family member. The Crittenden shelter was noisy and all the dogs were barking "take me, take me". I had planned on getting the small german shepard since he was to serve as a guard dog. Then I spotted this yellow dog down the row who was quiet. Not jumping up and down like the rest but standing in place he made eye contact with me. With only his tail wagging he held that gaze like a beauty contestant making eye contact with the judge. Louis approached about that time saying something to the effect he wanted "That" dog. So did I and after a walk and a poop we paid our money. He was good as gold going home only getting into my lap for a better view. gotta admit when he tries to hop up in the back shelf of the car he looked like a big bobble head dog. I will furnish pictures tomorrow because Clovis is sound asleep now.
