We talked storm water, taxes, Styrofoam, permits & Congress Sq. at the Portland Regional Chamber. I repeated my belief that the 1st job of the City Council is to make sure that city govt runs as effectively and efficiently as possible. I also raised the idea that Portland host a signature citywide festival. Think Monterey jazz or Telluride film or bluegrass. Maybe the Portland Multimedia or New Media festival.
