We the Marists Youths of Divine Word University are part of the third order of the Society of Mary of the Laity, founded by Mother Mary herself. We come from different places, and cultures under the one mystical Body of Christ. Our members come from the different provinces of Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands. Some are Catholics while some are non-Catholics from the Anglican, United Church, Lutheran, Assembly of God, Seventh Day Adventists and other Pentecostal Churches with just to name a few. They are Sylvester Vakeu, Evelyn Sausi, Aileen Baretta and Rachael Ningi. The desire to know more about Mother Mary is often referred to as the hidden treasure, which also attracts the Catholics to join the Marists and also other churches to join the Marists. This is not only happening here in Madang but also other parts of the six continents where Marists serve. They are very happy when joining the group. As young people, we follow the footsteps of Mother Mary who is our Perpetual Superior, Model and Queen. She is our intercessor who always prays for us. EM Jay KayPictured is one member, a second year students in PNG Studies and international relations Felix Baraka. he is also the treasurer. We have networks and the four religious of the branch, Queen of the Society of Mary –pray for us Somos jóvenes maristas la Universidad del Verbo Divino. Somos parte de la tercera orden (laicos) de la Sociedad de María, fundada por el deseo de nuestra Madre María. Venimos de diferentes lugares y culturas en el marco del único Cuerpo místico de Cristo. Nuestros miembros provienen de las diferentes provincias de Papúa Nueva Guinea y las Islas Salomón. Algunos son católicos, mientras que otros no lo son, hay miembros de la Iglesia Anglicana, la Iglesia Unida, Luterana, la Asamblea de Dios, Adventistas del Séptimo Día y otras iglesias pentecostale, entre otros. Son Sylvester Vakeu, Evelyn Sausi, Aileen Baretta y Rachael Ningi. El deseo de conocer más sobre la Madre María lo referimos a menudo como el tesoro escondido, que también atrae a los católicos a unirse a los Maristas y también otras iglesias a unirse a los maristas.
