We the citizens of NRI CLAN have resolve to stop calling Agukwu the name NRI TOWN they gave themselves. There is nothing like NRI town. Nri is a collective name that stands as a canopy over Umunri dynasty. It is not only Nri clan that has name that bind them as brothers.... DUNUKOFIA has four towns..Ukpo, Ifitedunu,Umunnachi and Ukwulu. no town is bearing the name DUNUKOFIA..Why should AGUKWU be answering NRI? UMUOWELLE has four towns..Abagana, Nimo, Abba and Eziowelle. No town is bearing the OWELLE..Why should Agukwu be bearing NRI as a name? OGBARU has five towns...Odekpe, Atani,Akili Ozuzu,Ochiuche,Ogwuikpere. None of them is bearing OGBARU TOWN. Why should Agukwu be answering NRI Town? NRI CLAN has more than four towns but four are more close to each other...Enugwu-ukwu the eldest, Nawfia, Enugwu-Agidi and Agukwu who was the last born...why should Agukwu took up a name of CLAN as her name? Igwe Onyesoh of Agukwu should stop twisting our history because he want to be recognised either in hook or in crook.... were calling on other towns to stop calling Agukwu Town NRI TOWN...Please call them by their name AGUKWU TOWN. There is no town like NRI TOWN.
