We the people need to get firm with our electeds and demand an end to the trash trains all over S-T. This BS about not being able to haul off this crap is unacceptable. In most cases there is little of value in them. Plus there is a health risk involved in sorting through this stuff. Another issue is there is not enough police presence on the Rock. A friend of mine, a retired L.A.S.D. captain who owned a strip mall in Sunland, found syringes in his dumpster enclosure. He called the commanding officer at Foothill & pleaded for more police presence, even if it was just drive bys. My friend was t blown off with cop lie #1, We dont have the manpower to implement your suggestion. We need more police presence here to help with the homeless problem. I think we need to apply more pressure on our electeds to put more time & energy into solving our chronic problems here.
