We thought Sampson might have found his forever home but it didnt work out so this sweet boy is still available for adoption. Sampson was taken into GPRO after his owner dumped him at a vet office. He was severely malnourished, matted, and a just a sad boy. His health and weight is now terrific and Sampson loves being a family dog. He is an affectionate boy about 6 years old. He gets along well with the other dogs and cats, but would be great as an only dog as well. Sampson is friendly to all people he meets, not really an outgoing guy but warms up to new people quickly. He loves getting a lot of love and attention from his family. Sampson is house trained, crate trained, trustworthy left alone indoors and loves to sleep on very soft things like thick blankets and doggie beds, and yes the couch as well, after the horrible treatment he has experienced he deserves to be snuggled with on the couch :) Due to his neglect he has joint arthritis so looking for a quiet, leisurely life. Sampson has a bit of a fear of slick floors, surely due from his fear of slipping and hurting his joints. His home will need to have a living space with carpet or area rugs so he is comfortable moving around the home. Sampson is fully vaccinated, dewormed, heart worm and tick borne disease negative and neutered. He is currently fostered in Ft Riley, KS.
