We toured the US Air Force Academy yesterday. We got there in time to see all 40 squadrons assemble for the noon meal. They do this every day and all 4000 cadets eat at the same time. I visited the airfield were I got my jump wings. Despite my instructors comment that I looked like a rag doll being thrown out the window of a speeding car, after 10 jumps I did receive my jump wings. The chapel is beautiful, with different chapels for different faiths. I had the opportunity to do a fly by over the stadium, in an FB-111, for one of the home football games. The entire place is dedicated to educating and training the future leaders of the Air Force.
