We tried taking another video while it wasnt raining, but alas, it was not meant to be...so here it is, Kingswood in the Rain. Finally, NB Power was on site to hook up the permanent hydro pole, after which Newco can remove the temporary service and Sugar Shack can finish the parking lot grading prior to MacArthurs paving the entire lot. Once the interior lights are working, we will post some interior videos when we have sufficient light. Rietzel Landscaping is on site now, installing the forms for the roadside sidewalk repairs and the sidewalks in front of the building, as seen in the video. Breau Construction is nearing completion of the front siding, with one half completely done, and almost 3/4 of the overall front completed. They should finish this week. Inside, Fundy Pros has nearly completed all of the drywalling and plastering, and Sica Ventilation is close to finishing the HVAC installation. We changed the design of the HVAC set up, and it should work more efficiently than 31 Hildegards system. Tri City Decorating has the first coat of painting done in the lower level, and has started the main floor. The final design of the colour combinations has been decided, and we think the interior will look very nice with the custom made cubbies and book cases being built by Atcan Industries. Primo Tile has finished all of the floor tiles in the lower level with the exception of the gym due to some tiles being on back order. All of the ceiling tiles and lights have been installed on the lower level as well, and most of the t-bar and some ceiling tiles are done on the main floor as well. Milton Cabinets has begun to install the in-class cabinets and sinks, and they look great. At 31 Hildegard, you will see some moving boxes around as we begin the task of packing up ahead of the move week in late August.
