We understand Zanu PF is trying to bus in people from the rural areas into urban zones and the best time to do it is at night. Any extension of the voting time will therefore help Zanu PF and be to the detriment of democracy loving Zimbabweans. We have also bee told "There is a difference between extending voting from 7 pm to 12 midnight and allowing anybody who is in the queue at 7pm to be allowed to vote. The latter is not an extension of voting time but merely complying with the legal requirement."
