We used to haul 160 bushels seven miles to the elevator in a 1961 Mercury. Today, Super-Bs haul closer to 2000 bushels 100 miles on the same roads. Things have changed, but some things remain the same. Give these folks some extra space. Theyre hauling heavy loads on questionable roads for long hours under a good deal of stress. Their cargo also quite literally feeds you. Give that driver an extra few seconds of room and smile and wave when you meet them. You dont HAVE to, but why wouldnt you? Everyone will be happier.
