We used to have an Illinois Central College English Department Christmas Best Bad Writing Readaloud as Marilyn Walker, Harvey Varness, Paul Andrew Resnick, Jim Sullivan, Kip Strasma & Jen Fitch Richrath may recall. I think I was an unofficial winner for a J.122 feature story winner by a then-girlfriend of Bruce Burtons. Writing on amateur night strippers at Big Als, she said that the winner, a woman from Glasford, took home the first-prize $50 for a wild and uninhibited no-holes-barred performance. I simply circled holes and wrote Sp. She told me, No. Thats what I meant. The ICC Harbinger editors wisely passed on running the story.
