We used to have good following in the North East in places like, Nairn, Elgin, Buckie, Ellon, Inverurie and Kemnay. Over in Arran was great too, we used to go over for a few weekends at a time throughout the year Doing Brodick, Lamlash and Whiting Bay. in glasgow, the electric gardens in sauchiehall st was fantastic to play as was sgt peppers in great western rd, also the maryland in scott st, terminal 1 club st enoch square and the lindella club in union st, The roadies hated the Lindella as it was about four flights up and no lifts. I felt sorry watching them carry all the 4x4 Marshall cabs , Hammond organ and Leslie unit and P A system up all those stairs but then again thats what they were paid for. OK a half pint of beer and ten fags wasn’t much, especially amongst all of them. Talking of roadies we had quite a few over the years, what would we have done without them? So to Davie Fowler, Davy Gilchrist, Brian Agnew, John McBrearty, Bobby, Benny, Jim Kelly, Seamus, Ian Hosie, (formally with the House of Lords,) Chris Watson, Stanley, and our longest serving roadie, Alan (Muttsey) Miller, and also our flat mate and part time aussie DJ Ken Kane, thanks guys
