We used to live in a society that tolerated differences in opinion and we were a better nation for it.There were varying shades of grey and plenty of room for common ground. But the lines are starkly black and white now. With the tea party willing to use anything and any one to achieve their goals no one is safe from their 1% ers agenda. Not your SS, your 401k or anything else they can get their hands on. They passed a farm bill that cuts food stamps when 20% of the population, mostly kids, rely on it for nutrition. Yet the same farm bill puts hundreds of thousands of dollars in their own and their families pockets. As a disabled vet I still feel the sting of having served this country over 40 years ago every day. Thats why I have nothing but disdain for republicans. They are either real stupid, real selfish or just plain evil.
