We used to walk to the Robert Burns statue and talk to it... not a lot else to do with no money and no TV really. There was a giant crossword puzzle pinned to her living room wall and we picked away at it. Two misfits of sorts. We went through a lot. She stood as a reluctant witness the day I got married and never stopped being there despite distance of every variety. There was Farwell Avenue and sprite. .. and the trips to the mall for nothing at all...late night talks and then METRO MANAGEMENT... and cranberry juice out a window. She let me be completely weird... I only have a handful of them... perhaps four... all of them my VERY BEST FRIENDS and she is definitely one of them! Amy Mueller love you tons!
