We usually stick to religion and stay out of politics, but Im gonna step into it tonight. Im sick of US involvement in the Middle East. Im sick of it being us vs. them. Im sick of Islam. Im sick of Christianity. Im sick of god bless America. Im sick of everyone trying to pretend that this isnt a religious war. Im sick of extremists. Im sick of moderates who still think their god is behind them. Im sick of the moral imperative argument. Im sick of dropping bombs to prove we are pro-peace. Im sick of hearing that we have to do something. Im sick of hearing about the possibly imminent terror threat that could reach us at any time. Im sick of the fear campaign. Im sick of beheadings. Im sick of child brides. Im sick of ignoring the genocide in the Sudan. Im sick of Theocracy. Im sick of being labeled immoral for wanting religious morality to disappear. Im sick of god sanctioned murder. I am so sick of faith. Im sick of homophobia. Im sick of hearing that the US is a Christian nation. Im sick of being told I need to gain perspective and view religion in a historical context. Im sick of being told I need to open my mind. Im sick of supporting our troops who are dropping bombs. Im sick of US arms sales. Im sure Im sick of more but Ill shut it for now. - Joss
