We ve just to follow the orders as directed by the government. PIA doesnt have option to deny, even prime minister call a PIA B777 aircraft just for the 30 people. They buy economy class ticket and travel in Business Class. Our A310 aircraft land at Lahore just to pick/drop VIPs and their families, with public statement of technical reasons. PIA decide to use all economy seating configuration for its fleet to increase revenue, but order come out directly from the PM house to configure PIA fleet with business class. PIA is a commercial organization, but being used for personal interests of the politicians, and bureaucrats and seems like a welfare organization for the rulers. Public blame PIA for each and everything, but they should know where from actually orders came out to PIA, and where from PIA being directly influenced. Public should know their national flag carrier is not an independent commercial organization, nor independent to implement their business plans.
