We visited the wonderful local nonprofit Thrive DC yesterday! We brought with us over fifty gently used coats we were able to collect from generous family and friends. Thrive distributes the coats they receive to those in our area who will need it most this winter. Thrive has also been a big supporter of Flourish from the start and were so glad to always have their support. We learn so much from Thrive, that every little bit counts - for example $1.50 can provide a meal. Today we donated to this 24 hour Giving Tuesday contest to help Thrive, and you still have a few hours to donate or spread the word, too: cfp-dc.org/cfpdc/nonprofit-campaign.php?i=84080-547.
