We visited villages all over Sierra Leone delivering rice, medicine, bibles and proclaimers. Every place we visited we shared the gospel and gave people an invitation to accept Christ. THIS WAS MY FAVORITE PART! One of the villages was called Kabala near the border of Guinea. It took us almost 10 hours to get there. Our van had a flat tire. The truck carrying our rice broke down. And we had to go thru a crazy amount of Ebola check points. When we finally arrived a group of people from a branch of the local church we work with was HAPPILY waiting for us in the dark. We had to use the van head lights because there was no electricity. Hearing these precious ones pray together with those who accepted Christ made it ALL WORTH IT. Listen with your heart as they say, God is good ALL the time and ALL the time God is good. If they can say this with joy in the face of such severe suffering then so can we. Lets never forget we are one Church working towards the same common goal. Please do not forget to pray for this part of the body of Christ in Africa.
