We want our Councillors and MPs Not just say to us, but we need to know what will come of their words. Many MPs and Councillors are generally quite weak when it comes to standing up and getting heard in Westminster, where it matters. Tony Benn was a man that spoke with passion and impact because he meant what he believed. Its easy to do a party political broadcast in front or lots of prospective voters and do nothing. We want to know impact of our Councillors and MPs and want to know results. Push for sanctions and questions. This isnt about any politician per se but what Ive seen so far in empty rhetoric on popular causes. Gone is the era of blind voting like our parents did, its the era of accountability and time to vote politicians with spines. So if there are career politicians, move aside and give genuine candidates a chance who care about public need locally, nationally and internationally. I am so looking to vote for one in the abyss we see in national politics.
