We want to apologize big time to everyone who called the straight talk line this morning and heard a recording from Tuesday. The message should have been updated Wednesday to Open. For those who heard a busy signal, the line can handle up to 60 calls at once, more than that and youll hear a busy signal until a line is free. However, if youre on Facebook and have a television, you can save yourself some time (and apparently quite a bit of aggravation) and skip calling altogether, because we update the FB page and local news stations as soon as we hear a status update from base leadership. We only post updates when the status is anything other than Open. That means if you dont see an update here or on the news, were open for business to support the world’s greatest Air Force and all our warfighters.
