We want to be close, close to Your side, so heaven is real and death is a lie. We wanna hear voices of angels above, singing as one. We wanna be near, near to your heart, Loving the world, hating the dark. We want to see dry bones living again, singing as one. The mountains shake before Him! The demons run and flee at the mention of the name, King of Majesty! There is no power in hell or any who can stand before the power and the presence of the Great I AM! Words have power and meaning. God spoke and created the world. He beckons us to His presence. He doesn’t need us – He desires us. We are entering a special season of time where the Jewish nation is celebrating the miracle of light – Chanukah; and Christians celebrate the birth of that Light - Christmas. When all His beloved children come to Him to worship a great miracle happens. Who has gone up to heaven and come down? Who has cupped the wind in the palms of his hands? Who has wrapped up the waters in his cloak? Who established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is his son’s name? Surely you know! 5 Every word of God’s is pure; he shields those taking refuge in him. 6 Don’t add anything to his words; or he will rebuke you, and you be found a liar. 7 [God,] I have asked two things of you; don’t deny them to me as long as I live — 8 keep falsehood and futility far from me, and give me neither poverty nor wealth. Yes, provide just the food I need today; 9 for if I have too much, I might deny you and say, “Who is Adonai?” And if I am poor, I might steal and thus profane the name of my God. We stand before You this day, not because we are great and powerful, not because we are worthy to touch the strap of Your sandal, but because You have invited us to come. And here we stand our hands empty but our hearts open to what You have to speak to us. We don’t have to ask for anything because You know our every need. You invite us to “Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy, and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy? Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good and your soul will delight in the richest fare. Give ear and come to me; hear me that your soul may live.” Isaiah 55:1-3 This is what the Lord says – Israel’s King and Redeemer, the Lord Almighty; I am the first and I am the last; apart from me there is no God.” Isaiah 44:6 22 I have swept away your offenses like a cloud, your sins like the morning mist. Return to me, for I have redeemed you. Isaiah 44:22 There is no God like Jehovah! How can we turn away from Him? We look for a miracle in our lives but we need to go no further than where we are at any moment, because He is always with us. Our prayer for all our needs is so simple – LORD, come into my life and change me. Forgive me for my sins and heal my soul. I know you died for me. I know that You rose on the third day and conquered death, Take my life and let it be ever consecrated LORD to thee! He has promise that in no way will He deny this request when it comes from the heart. This is the miracle of healing we all desire. This is the miracle of healing He freely gives. Say yes to Him today and you will never be the same again because He will make you a new man or woman. This is the time we celebrate His life. He is the light of the world. Let all His children give Him praise. The blessings are ours ~ the Glory is His! Hallalujah! Holy Holy! God Almighty! Great I AM! Who is worthy, none beside Thee God Almighty! GREAT I AM! We have some new prayer requests this morning: Donna Randolph Webb asks: Please pray for Jacque Miller Lowe. She keeps having bleeding in her head. They dont know where the bleeding is coming from. It is giving her tremendous headaches. She now has blood pockets in her head again. The last time they had to drill a hole in her head to drain the blood and relieve the pressure. She went in Friday and the blood pockets had not grown. They sent lab work to be tested. She will go back Monday to find out what kind of treatment she needs to follow. Please continue to pray. LORD God! We pray that this terrible situation be gone in the Name of Your Son Jesus. There is no place for something such as this in the life of one of Your children! Father God, we have a special prayer request, from Kim Dudley Mullins. Special prayer for her grandchildren. Dyllan has been diagnosed with Turner Syndrome and Celiac disease. Logan 2 years old, is struggling with sensory issues. Keep this entire family in prayer. Bless this grandmother, in a way only You can, Father. Prayers for Sharon Hudgens Luthers sister, Judy Hudgens Brown. Judy has been off chemo since June. Judy will be off chemo till after Christmas, to see if she can gain some more weight. Continuing prayers for Donna Randolph Webbs family. Her dad, Roy is wanting to go home. Prayers for Danny, Donnas brother. Prayers for her youngest brother, Jerry Don Randolph. We are believing God for a fresh new start for Jerry Don. Prayers for Gloria, Donna’s sister. Donna’s nephew Adam has cancer. After having chemo and radiation Adam is showing improvement. Lifting Margie Dunagan Denham, got an update Margie is some better. Margie has so many physical issues. Her liver count is down some. Keep the prayers going for Margie. Update from, Gary Pringle about Dale Havens, Garys friend. He is better after his heart attack, but no longer is able to work. Dale is awaiting a procedure.
