We want to give a BIG shout out to a donor who recently purchased 3 male dog and 3 female dog spay-neuter vouchers through our SPAY IT FORWARD! Campaign. Every DAY we are contacted by families who WANT to do the right thing by spaying or neutering a dog or cat, whether it be their own pet, a stray, or maybe a neighbor or family members pet that keeps having litter after litter because the owner cant... or wont... fix the pet. Regardless of the WHY, there are frequent situations where the owner or kind Samaritan does NOT have a penny to spare, yet there is an animal that MUST be fixed quickly in order to prevent suffering, inbreeding, or an unwanted pregnancy or litter that will ultimately be dumped on the doorstep of an already overflowing Montgomery County Animal Control & Adoption Service. Our Spay It Forward! Campaign gives us the financial flexibility to offer surgeries for FREE in extreme situations, so we appreciate this donor... and ALL of our past donors, too... SO very much!
