We want to make you aware of a meeting happening tomorrow night. The city of Roeland Park is considering revising their animal ordinances. The issues will be voted on Monday, January 26th at 6:00 pm, Roeland Park Community Center 4850 Rosewood Dr., Roeland Park, KS 6:00 p.m. Committee of the Whole meeting - residents may have 1 minute to speak, if the Chapter 2 changes are added back on. 7:00 p.m. Council meeting - residents are allowed 3-4 minutes to speak. If you plan to speak at the 7:00 p.m. council meeting, please arrive no later than 6:30 to sign a card to speak. Issues covered include Trap-Neuter-Release for cats, humane tethering and severe weather guidelines for pets, behavior-based nuisance, dangerous, and vicious animal language that will replace the breed specific prohibition, and the number of foster animals a person can foster at one time.
