We wanted to explain a change that we had to make last year. We had help from a lawyer and input from 2 different accountants and the IRS regarding our non-profit application (which we sent in in June). Some of this information we received regarding donating to non-501(c)(3) approved and foreign rescues was conflicting. Unfortunately this held up answering several rescues that needed help- and, truthfully, we STILL do not have a straight answer. We came up with a way to help non-501(c)(3) approved and foreign rescues late last year without us donating to them, but spaces each year will be limited. Non-501(c)(3) approved and foreign rescues will be scheduled in March and December each year.
