We wanted to take the time to remind you that VBS is just around the corner and we are SUPER excited about it. As you may know our focus is on serving Jesus. Proverbs 22: 6 says “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” With that being said, each night we are going to give every child an opportunity to become a STAR just like Jesus by serving Him, Family, Friends, Neighbors and Community. In an effort to accomplish this we are also giving you the chance to be a STAR too by setting the example and joining your child in this mission. Every night we will be collecting items and putting them in the ‘storehouse’. These items will be distributed to different ministries starting in our own backyard and reaching out to other regions. Join us as we all become a STAR-: Serving Thankfully All Regions **Please do not bring everything at one time-each night holds a surprise** Sunday PM Session: Unwrapped Board Game and **Coupons** Monday Session: School Supplies (i.e. crayons, washable markers, scissors–age appropriate, pencils (new & unsharpened), notebooks, erasers, glue sticks, pencil boxes, etc.) Tuesday Session: Toiletries (i.e. Toothpaste, toothbrush, travel size deodorant, wash cloths – please no liquids) Wednesday Session: Canned goods and non perishable items (i.e. Soups, rice, beans, etc.) **Please bring any and all coupons that you have or can pickup. We are going to distribute these coupons to our faithful troops that serve our country. The organization we are coordinating with can distribute these coupons to the troops’ families and they can use them 6 months past their expiration date. Pastor jonathan Bennett Freedom Tabernacle
