We wanted you to be aware that at about 11:40 a.m. today (Thursday, January 8), Glacier Peak High School students and staff were evacuated from the building due to a threat of an explosion that was written on a bathroom wall. Little Cedars Elementary was also put into lockdown. Authorities were called, searched Glacier Peak and gave the all clear around 12:15 p.m. All students and staff are safe. Students and staff at Glacier Peak have returned to their classrooms, and the Little Cedars lock down has been lifted. We take matters of safety very seriously.
