We watched Coal Miners Daughter again last night, the story Rags - TopicsExpress

We watched Coal Miners Daughter again last night, the story Rags To Riches was as amazing as ever. Loretta had a lot of tugs, bounces and falls with her life as Everyone else does, but the theme does deem she was stardom bound from day one and Doo was the love of her life after she lost her dad at a very young age. Doo also was her mechanical wheels that so to speak, helped her to reach stardom. I had the pleasure of meeting Doo at the Hurricane Mills Estate back in the late 80s..... He appeared to still live in Butcher Holler. Loretta was a favorite of mine from the first time I heard her voice, she also agreed to come to Pickwick back in the late 80s to do a benefit for a local musician who was battling cancer, but did not get to come due to an accident. We did whoever have a Grand Old Opry member to come and perform with us for that benefit.
