We watched Matt Damon in Elysium the other night. Good flick, held our interest--but what was most unsettling were the images of OUR earth--depicted just 200 years after my birth year--by 2154 earth is a sick, toxic land--dying and completely depleted. What bothered me, and Lucy agreed, is that if we, as humanity, continue to put poison into this living organism, our planet, the way we so effortlessly do so now, the earth will probably not be a very healthy place to live/survive in the year 2154. Maybe youll say its Hollywood, fool!-- dont we all hope so.
