We watched Scorseses George Harrison documentary, Living In The Material World in pieces over the weekend...finishing it off tonight reminded me of the depth of his loss...the material world at least lost a great influential and creatively precious man when he died. Always my favorite Beatle... but then grew into a colorful spiritual presence who strove for goodness while battling human nature. His songs...beautiful and delicate art that will always be with us. He saw about everything a man could hope to see in a lifetime and tragically had to suffer a knife attack while trying to recover from cancer that ultimately took him ~ a treasure of a man.
