We we called and able to get in to Kirkland clinic today. We saw dr geldmacher. After some history he immediately said he needed to come off Dilantin. He said it is toxic and bad for people with memory problems. Will start tomorrow coming off and will take about a month. We new immediately that the physician change was the right decision. The new meds will start tomorrow as well. He explained the connection of seizures, brain bleeds and Alzheimers. It all made sense. We need prayers for JM not to have a seizures during the medication change. Thank you so much for being supportive with prayer.
