We welcome The Crown Prosecution Services’ decision to withdraw the arrest warrant on Ashya King’s parents and the news that they will face no further action. It was clearly wrong to separate him from his family at a time when he needs them the most and we are thankful that the authorities involved have recognised that. We hope now that the family will be reunited as quickly as possible and that they can begin to repair some of the damage that has been done, whatever the difficulties they still face.
