“We welcome the Government’s requests for how we may be able to help, but fundamentally corruption in Malawi must be fought by clear messages and actions from the senior-most levels of government showing that no one is immune to investigation and prosecution if involved in corrupt practices.We take the Vice President at his word and look forward to the tangible actions that the government will take in the coming days and weeks to conclude investigations into ad hoc and systematic corruption in government and to hold those responsible to account."
